Kate Fiduccia is a celebrated big game hunter and renowned expert in wild game cooking, blending her passion for the outdoors with a degree from Cornell University’s prestigious Hotel School. As the author of best-selling cookbooks like “The Venison Cookbook”, “The Jerky Bible”, and “Cabin Cooking”, Kate has delighted audiences with her mouth-watering recipes on the popular cooking segment “Going Wild in Kate’s Kitchen” featured on “Woods N’ Water Big Game Adventures.”

Kate’s hands-on experience extends beyond the kitchen. She has been a deer hunting instructor at the New York State “Becoming an Outdoors Woman” workshop and regularly demonstrates her culinary talents at outdoor expos and sports shows nationwide. Her engaging style and deep knowledge make her a highly sought-after speaker and demonstrator in the outdoor and culinary communities.

With a multifaceted career, Kate has served as General Manager of a USDA-certified beef processing facility for nearly a decade and worked for seven years as an ENG editor for ABC News in New York City. Her exceptional work in video editing earned her the prestigious George Foster Peabody Award for her coverage of catastrophic events on September 11, 2001.

Kate is also an advocate for raising awareness about polycystic kidney disease (PKD), a condition she has courageously managed for over 35 years. Through her cookbooks, public service announcements on “Woods N’ Water,” and active participation in events like the “Walk for PKD,” she works continually to make a difference for those affected by this disease.

Kate resides in upstate New York with her husband, Peter Fiduccia—affectionately known as “The Deer Doctor”—and their yellow Labrador, Tasha. Together, they embrace a vibrant outdoor lifestyle, managing their farm orchard, planting wildlife food plots, and inspiring others with their shared love for the outdoors.
